Magnetic and Physical Properties Measurement Facility Professor John B. Ketterson Phone Number: 847-491-5468 E-mail: j-ketterson@northwestern.edu | DirectionsThe Physics & Astronomy department buildings are all located near the intersection of Noyes Street and Sheridan Road. If you are not familiar with Northwestern you may want to read the main About Northwestern page. You can find a lot of useful campus information online, including maps, directions, and information on where to park. |
Parking InformationTwo parking lots are conveniently adjacent to the Technoligical buildings. One is at the southwest corner of Noyes Street and Sheridan Road. The other is on the interior of the campus, accessible by a driveway just north of the Noyes/Sheridan intersection, on the east side. One parking lot that almost always has open spaces is located directly behind the Sports Pavilion & Aquatic Center (SPAC).
If you need to park on campus during your visit, you will need a visitor's parking permit, they are required for use of the lots. Please contact Grant Darktower or call: 847-491-3685 at least two weeks before your visit and he should be able to mail you a permit. Note that very few parking lots near the central campus area allow visitor permits: see the campus parking map. Two-hour street parking that does not require a permit may also be available along Noyes Street. |
